At Wishing Wood Somerset, we know that dogs are part of the family, and a woodland getaway wouldn’t be quite the same without them.

With nine acres of beautiful woodland to explore and lovely countryside walks nearby, there’s plenty for curious noses, wagging tails and muddy paws to enjoy.

Whether it’s a morning stroll through the trees, discovering new scents along the woodland paths or relaxing beside the fire after a day of adventures, your four-legged companion is welcome to join in.

Our woodland is home to an abundance of wildlife, including deer, rabbits and birds, with livestock in the surrounding countryside.

To keep everyone safe and protect our natural surroundings, we simply ask that dogs are kept under control, remain on leads where required and that owners always clean up after them.

Please be especially mindful of wildlife and neighbouring farm animals when exploring the surrounding countryside.
